I understand your concern, I had the same concern when I started learning CC. I got a little confused at first but eventually both set of fingerings come naturally. I play in a Military Band and unfortunately I can't just stick to CC. I play BBb sousaphone in marching band, BBb tuba in outdoor concert band ( march music ), and CC tuba in quintet and indoor concert band ( regular concert literature ). I own my CC tuba and love its sound but playing BBb is part of my job, so I use my CC when ever possible and use the government owned BBb's when I need to. Sorry for rambling on, but I suggest save your money and learn BBb, many tubist play several different pitched horns and it'll make dubbling on euph easier too.
