Hey now.
When I was in school there was never much talk about mouthpieces. You simply chose or were issued one that fit the 'bore' of your horn and that was that.
now as I read the bbs I find constant notes and questions about different manufacturers, custom made, thick wall/thin wall, gold/silver. what's the difference? (outside of custom made fitted to the player pieces that is) I mean all a 'piece does is provide a way to get the wind and buzz into the horn right? Please help with this quandry.
