I own a goofy little Bb (NOT BBb) Mahillion tuba (baritone horn length, but tuba bore and tuba mouthpiece receiver). It is a pretty little thing (looks much like the eBay F) but a playability disaster. I would say "nice response up high" would well describe mine, too. Someone gave me my little Mahillion horn (It is in like-new condition) as a gift, and they are an active player... Currently, it is a bookshelf ornament. If you need a really decent econo F (a very good B&S), I might have one to sell you sometime in the late fall.
