Call Dillon's now about a new VMI 6/4 rotor that they have, a used VMI 6/4 piston that is used but in excellent shape (IMO a good player), and they have an excellent Holton for $8500. The Holton may be out of your range, but is an excellent huge tuba, but the VMI's might be a good option, I don't know what the prices are, but the used one may be in your range. Also, try the Beuscher/Nirchl/Meinl Weston/Matt Walters tuba if you can get down there. Quite and excelent horn with almost a 6/4 sound with a 5/4 size.
