Right on, man; you sure hit the nail on the head. A few things us OLD GUYS have
learned over the years are:
1. In any organization, be it ITEA or the entire U. S. Navy, about 10% of
the membership volunteer above and beyond the dues and the other 90% just
bitch about how the 10% volunteer group is running the organization.
2. If you want an organization to change into something that you'd like to see,
it won't happen if you are sitting on your hands. The item about voting is
the primary example, whether it be for the name change or the President of
the United States.
