If you think your band can handle working with a lot of cues and a narrator, look at Kleinsinger's "Tubby the Tuba", one of the more famous tuba works for symphony orchestra. The band arrangement is available in Bb and you don't necessarily HAVE to hit those high Fs (Ebs in the band arrangement?). Enjoy.
