The car that I bought is perfect for my tuba handing and football tailgating needs: A 2000 Saturn LW2. It is a wagon, with a six-cylinder 180 hp engine, and has plenty of room for my horn, even when it is in my giant Unitec flight case. It handles great, and is just slightly smaller than a Camry. For Detroit Lions games (no comments from the peanut gallery) we carry a pop-up shelter, a large table, six folding chairs, one or two grills, baggage, and plenty of food. I have carried 2 sousas with ease, and the main horn (a Kalison with a RB gig bag) fits perfectly in the cargo area. It gets better milage than a small SUV, can handle more cargo, and can get over 100 without sweating too much (pass some guy in a Lexus and watch the look on his face)!
