Yesterday I ordered some Nickle silver From Matt because I am going to try so shape a 2nd valve trigger for my Piggy, something like the 6/4 Culberson's use. I would like it to look as close too the old style Cerveny spatulas that I already have, and that leads me to the question I forgot to ask Matt yesterday.
"What is the best way to cut this stuff? I learned the hard way not to try to cut nickle silver tubing with a tube cutter, but what about a flat hunk of metal like this? I was thinking about tracing the shape I want, and then grinding away everything that does not look like a spatlua, but I would love suggestions from any of you that have experience with this.
