Hi Steve, and greetings from Nashville. I bought an older 186 CC 4 valve('63) from a friend last year,who had it since junior high and used it through Eastman and many recording sessions here. After getting a partial overhaul and getting the gook out of the valves from years of sitting in a closet unmaintained, it's back to it's former glory as a nice lightweight tuba, that plays well in tune, has a nice dark sound with that edge you can only get from these babies. Don't believe I'm letting this one get away from me.
