I used a Dillon M1CBL for a while, then a Geib 3BL, but I've finally settled on a Dillon Sheridan O1 w/the big shank! Kinda gives you that BIG tuba sound with plenty of articulative definition.
That's me though. Give it a shot! Also try the 88 heavy if you really like that rim a want a little more oooomph!
