For further proof of your theorom read "Gerdel, Escher, and Bach". You hit the nail right on the head. The premise of the book is that there is a direct line from the great mathematician Gerdel to the wonderful drawings of Escher to the Musical Offering by Bach. One dimensional math to three dimensional(and then some)drawings to an all-encompassing work without bounderies by Bach. The theory is exquisite in it's simplicity and mind-boggling in it's innerworkings, much the same as Bach's music. Only Bach could write ultra-complex music that you can still whistle the tune to.
