That is an interesting coment, except, I wouldn't think that a decision like that should be made my any judges. For example, if someone got into both competitions, I would feel that it should be there decision on which comp is a better opportunity. As for ITEC, they aren't held every year (although I know there will be one next year, and there was one last year), and so that might be important to the performer. On the other hand, Falcone would be a lot cheaper to travel to up in Michigan rather than going to Finland. I would think that the performers should get to decide, and it is for that reason that each comp chooses alternates. I think at this point they are just getting their notes together and crossing the t's, and dotting the.... lower case j's.
