I went to the CSO concert of "The Planets" and while I found many aspects of the musicians enjoyable (including Gene's tuba solo in Uranus), I was definitely not impressed by the uninteresting, Santa Claus-esque conductor. I'll have to remember next time to go when Barenboim's conducting again (and hopefully get better seats than the 6th floor Gallery)
