For some reason it is VERY expensive to get a VMI in silverplate. I have seen a silver VMI BBb that Charlie has at the tubastore, and it looks nice from what I have seen. I think I heard it adds 20-25% more to the cost of the horn.
Just a reminder CHarlie still has a couple of really nice 6/4's in stock, and his $6K price tag will be hard to beat anywhere.
