Besson offered 3- and 4-valve top-action/3+1 compensating CCs at one time. They actually aren't bad instruments; Arnold Jacobs at one time owned two of them.
It might be interesting as an experiement to cut and fit a YBB-321 with a side-action valve cluster, but the tall size of this instrument probably would make the result ungainly to play. I'd only attempt it on a junker, not a playable horn.
