Well, Northwestern, Michigan, Rochester/Eastman, Hopkins/Peabody, Rice, etc. Maybe what you should do is find the "great tuba teachers," then find which of those schools have good engineering schools. What is difficult is that many of the great engineering schools are difficult to get into, and so are the music schools with great tuba profs. So you'd have to work really hard to try to get into both. Maybe you should investigate some schools and see if they will let you take lessons from the tuba prof for minimal cost even if you aren't a music major. However, you'll have quite a difficult time getting into an orchestra or something. With ambition, it can be done. Good luck to you.
