the instrument in the picture is a Eb sousaphone .made in italy I belive by Orsi and imported by Barcone Music in Rockville Center NY in the 1950"s os early 60"s the instrument also was made in BBb and was the same size . The give away is the single turn on the body . The BBb had a double turn . There are many of these all over Long Island in schools and screwed to the walls of Fridays resturants Which if you have ever played one is where they belong.
They did make a
A baritone verson of the horn .But the were very small and most have been distroyed due to their fradgile design.
