I have found the lead-pipe to be too short. This is my major problem with this instrument: I have to tilt the horn left quite a bit to avoid having the bell practically blocking my left eye's vision. This makes it harder to hold (more weight on the left arm).
Others I've seen playing this model don't seem to mind (ie they don't tilt the horn). Perhaps I'm just used to a right facing bell, or a longer lead-pipe.
