I made the gooseneck. It had nothing when I bought it back in '79 for $25 at a flea market (not even a receiver). For years, I had a Conn receiver and gooseneck "blobbed" on to it (w-a-y too big...' did it in about 15 minutes the day before I made the first $ I made playing it in a club [6 nights a week for two years]), and since I was finally "dude-ing out" this instrument, I decided to properly match the bore of the lower mouthpipe with a custom receiver, and custom bore-matching ("bit-less") gooseneck.
