Took another look at the original post’s picture.
As my reservations towards 3 valved non-comp and non-triggered instruments might be even too well stated, I liked to see the pull ring on the top slide of the 3rd valve tubing.
Is this an original ring?
Does it allow you to comfortably adjust intonations on 1+3 and 1+2+3 fingerings during actual playing?
I hate the saying "It is good enough for jazz", when it comes to the bad intonation of an instrument. Walking bass lines may have strong rhythmical functions. But in my limited view rhythmical and harmonical progressions are basically sides of the same coin in true jazz.
