For what it's worth, Patrick Harrild plays a MW 2165 about half of the time with the LSO, and I'm pretty sure that John Fletcher played CC with the orchestra pretty extensively. I've also seen other british tubists pull out a CC or BBb occasionally... So it's not exclusively Eb over here, although the Besson Sovereign definitely is the most commonly used instrument.
