Well, for a FIBERGLASS sousaphone why not an D.E.G. "Astro" NYLON cup mouthpiece? (Actually, they're not that bad, but I was kidding.)

Use the "generic" "large tuba - appropriate" mouthpiece of your choice, all the way from a Bach #18/#12/#7 "bowl cupped" (or good econo COPIES - only about $40) through the many "Helleburg" (funnel-cupped) models made by many companies, to the mostly round-rimmed "Perantucci-ish" mouthpieces (higher numbered sizes).

The Equa-Tru (' have one in the store - ' came with a "baby" King Gladiator sousa) is a little tricky (for me) to achieve flexibility, volume, and a pretty sound, so you are pro'ly "due" a mouthpiece.

If you are curious, a "Conn 2" (funnel-shaped exterior) came "new" with that sousa of yours, and played it OK.
