Have you ever had a middle or high school band? As soon as some kid or his dad "jacks" the top valve caps with pliers on any Yamaha piston instrument, that piston will be stuck inside the instrument until a fairly expensive repair is executed because Yamaha does not build in "relief" areas in the tops of their valve casing interiors.
