Just to set the record straight, I will not be attending an expensive private school. I'll be attending a NJ state school, which, since I am a resident of New Jersey, will cost only aboout $12,000 a year (a lot of money but about as low as you'll get with decent state schools in New Jersey.) I've also been offered a $3,000 per year grant from the state of New Jersey, $2,000 in work study, $2,000 as a subsidized loan (ie, no interest), and about another $1,000 in scholarships. this leaves roughly $4,000 a year to be left to student loans. I also don't have any credit cards (and don't plan on getting any). So, although I am looking at a great deal of money being borrowed, I don't think I'll be in all that bad of a situation.

Respectfully,
Tim Murphy
