Absolutely True Story:

I taught tuba at the SOM from 1985-1989. On a dare, I went up to Top Mike's office. I told him, in very upset and rushed tones, that the library at Quantico had just been burned to the ground and that both books were lost. I then said with as straight a face as possible that it was a shame because only one had been colored in. I magine the look on MY face when that old cuss leaped over his desk and chased me all the way to the CMAA Shack were Col. Clyde Croswell(the greatest Marine Musician who ever lived) was standing there with a birthday cake. God, we had some good times there. Sempre Fi, oops, sorry, GO ARMY.
