I've recently thought about the very few extraordinary tuba "live" performances that I've attended over the years...I mean those that were awesome enough to remember today.

Of those, I recall various ones being playing on the following instruments:

- a leaky old Kruspe 4V F tuba
- one of those '70's vintage "run-of-the-mill" Besson comp. EEb's
- a "first generation" Meinl Weston 5V F
- a Holton CC with the typical stinko 3rd partial

Which of the four tubas (mentioned here, above) are regularly "raved" about on this forum...
