God, this was the funniest damn thing ever...maybe you had to be there, but...At school in Kentucky, we had a quartet that would play weekends at the Kentucky Horse Park all summer long(the Four Horsemen). We would sit on benches and play for usually very sparce crowds. One day we were blowing thru Eine Kliene Nactmusik and we hear the loud "oh shi*"! One guys stopped to see what happened, but the other two of us kept on playing...we didnt care, had to finish the tune. Turns out that a bee stung the guy right on his lip. Holy cow did we laugh at this. He was out of commission now, so we asked if there was a euphonium player there listening(so we could finish the set) and there was one, out of three people listening, one was a eupher. He grabbed his ax and we finished the set. Had to be there, I guess, but I am laughing as I write this.
