There are Silent Brass tuba mutes on there, too. I just got one, and I'm pretty happy with it. The ones they are selling have the first generation mixer with 3 different adjustable reverbs, and volume controls for another silent brass player and input from your stereo, cd player, etc. I've read complaints about distortion from the mute input, but I haven't come across any yet. I found that I have to be very precise when jumping around upper partials, but a little precision practice probably won't hurt me. I practice in the basement right below our living room, and my wife can't hear me at all, even at full volume. It also builds up your arms a bit since it makes your horn very top heavy.
