I wouldn't avoid a tuba just because it is a stencil. I have a Conn International, made by Cerveny that just says "Stytriaton" on it. It plays well and is every bit as well made as Cerveny labeled equivalent instruments that I have seen and played. Some have expressed concern that stencil horns don't get the same level of care in assembly or materials as those labeled with the manufacturer's own brand name. I can't say whether this is really true or not, but it hasn't been true in the ones I have seen.

As to the three models in question, I haven't played those specific horns, but of the 3 modesl I prefer the M-W 32. The thing I don't like about it is the left hand 5th valve. I prefer a thumb valve.
