Most every trombone student at CCM that I know is no longer there (meaning they did the transfer deal to another school...often one of lesser quality) Now this is no reflection on the teacher that you, the tuba player will have, but for a symphony musician (which i'm just assuming you are) a trombone section is important to the fellow tuba (it's more like a low brass section than a trombone/tuba section...ya know?)
