You said that management asked for his resignation. Not the same thing at all. My point in continuing this debate with you is that while your intentions are probably good, you may be scaring some potentially good candidates for the job into passing on this audition. The dismissed person may make all the noise he wants (something he's been doing for 25 years, from what I hear) but in this case, the procedure for dismissal was followed to the letter of the ASO master agreement, and if a case is filed, he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
