I use the ear plugs when I play bass bone in the big band, since usually there is a trumpet playing right behind my head!. I have the 15 db filter. They were the custon fit model. I do have some other non fitted ones that I keep in my case in case I forget my fitted ones. They work well also. It takes a little getting use to. Practice with them before you use them on a gig. I am not sure of the brand of my plugs.
