Garry has moved to Hawaii. He and his wife bought alot of Real Estate over there and are quite well off. He still comes back to play. He plays a 2165 and an older B&S F. I haven't seen him with a small Mirafone although one of his students at UNLV was playing on his 184-5U. Nice horn. FWIW, Deanna Swoboda is currently teaching tuba at UNLV as an adjunct, don't know if she is going full time. You are quite right about Garry's bass bone chops, although I don't know if still plays it alot. Very nice and humble guy who is one of the worlds authoritys on SCUBA diving. I will pass along your accolades if and when I see him again.
