I own one of these stenceled as a Wurlitzer, but Mine has a
slightly bigger (20") bell. Also mine was a BBb when I got it,
I don't think this one is (note the length of the second valve slide)
because I wanted a CC B.A.T. I got radical with the conversion and
supprisingly it worked very well ! After it sat ijn My closet for
three months after I first worked on it as I thought I had ruined it.
it turned out to be only slightly leaking ! I am so pleased with it
since then that I took it on a band of america cruze to the caribian.
Rick Denny is right about B.A.T. tubas they do have a magical feel.
the bad news is Yes, it is qa dent magnet. but it's worth it.
I only hope I can post the pictures corectaly.
