Here is a pic on the web of Ron Bishop, Principal Tuba, Cleveland Orchestra, with my old Mirafone 184-5U-CC tuba that I bought "new" in 1976. This is NOT the tuba that I currently have for sale.

The one that I have for sale has very nice cosmetics overall, and a "normal" 5th valve. That "nutty" 5th valve (on Mr. Bishop's tuba) was put on by me in 1978 before I ever learned anything at all about repair work. Though "nutty" and not elegant, that "custom" 5th valve on Mr. Bishop's tuba does have "duel" (long half-step/long whole-step) capablility.

The purpose of posting this pic was to let some folks know the actual size and shape of a Mirafone 184, as no promo pics are officially posted on manufacturers' nor vendors' websites.
