Stavanger is AWESOME! They performed here in Newburgh Sunday night. We opened the concert and The Bend in the River Brass (another local group) performed next. I'm glad that Stavanger performed last! They are such a dymanic group. Monday afternoon, they perform in Columbus, Ohio. On Tuesday they will be in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wednesday it's Mt. Vernon, Iowa. Thursday it's La Porte City, Iowa and also North Judson, Indiana. Finally on Sunday it's Chicago. Here's the program they performed here:

Arioso - JS Bach/Howard Snell
Badinerie - JS Bach/T Wyss
Blackbird - Lennon/McCartney
The Great Colour-Gobbler March - Hakon Berge
Intrada, Ein Feste Burd - Ray Farr
Prelude from the Holberg Suite - Greig/Woodfield
Prelude to Pagentry - Eric Ball
Psalm of Praise - Curnow
Solveigs Sang - Greigg/Antrobus
Sommerkveld - Sinding/Brevik
Voldresmarsj - Hansen/Forde
Hymm of the Highlands (three movements) - Sparkes
Jazz Suite (five movements) - Forde

I suspect they will be doing the same program throughout their tour. Watch for a very impressive tuba solo (among lots of other solos).
