I had to have crowns put on two front teeth a few years ago. The
cement failed on the first try after a year, but the dentist recemented
it in and I have had no trouble since. I just took up the tuba again
after many years absence, and have not noticed any undue effect of the
crowns while I'm getting my lip back into shape.
