I have aquired an old baritone or euphonium which is marked on the bell Adolph Schmidt. I can find no other markings except the valves are numbered 16,17 & 18. I have heard somewhere that one of the differences between a baritone and euphonium is that the tubing on a euphonium is tapered. In this case the tubing from the valve section to the bell is tapered. The valve section tubing appears to be all the same dia. The finish is raw brass and the horn is in pretty good shape. Any help in identification will be appreciated.
