I would definately try out more tubas than the models you mentioned. If money is no object, then you can take as much time as you need to shop around and not worry about missing out on something else. Along with with the tubas you mentioned, I would try out a Willson, a Rudy Meinl, a Gronitz, and a Alexander. Plus, whatever else you can get your hands on. Make sure you bring someone with you who knows what a tuba should sound like. An extra pairs ears are a must when trying out a tuba. Preferably, your teacher would be best suited for this job. In the end, go with the one you sound best on.
