Tomorrow I'm going to pick up my lacquered PT-6, close my eyes, and "imagine" it is without lacquer. I think if I really see the instrument's rustic patina in my mind that my sound will adjust!
Now we need to have the silver vs. lacquer discussion again once this issue is resolved.
