Play an Edwards- I warn you though, you'll no longer be happy with your Yamaha.

Having played all of them, I can say that I would trade my Yamaha bass trombone for a Getzen or an Edwards any day. Unfortunately, I play it in a group that has an agreement with Yamaha- so, while the horn doesn't cost me anything, I'm can't play another horn with the group. Basically, when I'm asked about the horn, my forced reply is "Yamaha horns are very consistent."

(that's the only endorsement of Yamaha horns I hear from anybody, really)

Consistent indeed! They still haven't figured out how to make a proper independent G rotor(or dependent D rotor, for all that matters) on ANY of their horns!
