I would not pay $3,000.00 for a tuba of that caliber. If I needed a tuba in that price range, I'd either buy a Josef Lidl LBB-701 (built as well as a Mirafone, just a 3/4 size tuba) for under $3,000.00, or I'd get a used horn of a good name brand.
