Buggies, aside, I take it that you're not of the Conn 8D persuasion! Just curious, when you're playing horn, what do you play? I seem to remember reading somewhere that Denis Brain played an old really narrow bore French natural horn with a valve section grafted on.
If I'm not mistaken, some of the John Wallace Collection recordings use the old narrow-bore instruments to good effect.
