Silverado is one of my favorite movie scores of all time. It is quite easy to concoct a suite from the score, starting with the opening credits (which starts with a tuba solo), a middle movement from when the settlers arrived in Silverado (ends with the character played by Danny Glover approaches his family's farm to discover that it has been burned out), and with the closing credits as the final movement. We are doing a band arrangement (made by an anonymous friend of Broughton's with his blessing) at the moment. Between this and The Cowboys, I can't imagine having more fun on one concert.

I understand that Broughton is quite approachable, and may allow the score to be used directly. The sections I mentioned are self-contained interludes in the score and don't require arrangement to be used in a concert setting.
