Yes, their prices are good (but I prefer SW because of their friendly carry-on policy, and their prices are just as good.)
With America's Worst, I have had several instances of complete rudeness from their staff. On more than one occasion, I was carrying on a custom horn case that met the carry-on measurments, but because it looked "robust" they gave me a very big hassle about carrying it on, and tried to force me to check it. People with soft luggage that was quite a bit bigger than the carry-on measurments were allowed to carry it on without comment. This basic hassling has happened many times.
In addition, flying out of Tucson we generally have to do the short hop to Phoenix first. It seems that when AW is short of planes, the Tucson hop is the one that gets eliminated, and the entire travel day is a complete mess because of it. So I stay away from them as much as possible.
