I have recently switched from F to Eb tuba(like in the last couple weeks!). Because of this, I haven't felt secure with new fingerings to take gigs on the Eb. I've used my hirsbrunner HB21 for four quintet jobs and each time I have walked away saying "Man, I love this tuba, it can fit into any situation!" I don't know how the rest of the group responded but I heard no complaints!
Who knows, maybe I will keep using it and only use the Eb for playing in brass band.
