As for CC vs. BBb, that is up to you, and if you know who your private lesson teacher in College will be, ask his or her opinion on this issue. If you make the wrong decision, it will be an expensive mistake. I have seen many college teachers encourage their students to get a CC, but I don't know of any who tell their students to sell that CC tuba and get a BBb.
