Yes Brandon, there ARE two sides to every story. Unfortunately, Mr. Cox was never presented with the answer to the big question - "why are you firing me". Therefore, the only way to get the other side of the story is by talking with the proverbial powers that be at the university. Feel free to tackle that one if you wish. However, I don't think you'll get very far. No one at the university is sharing any information regarding this situation. I've known Ted Cox a verrrrry long time and I can assure you the "other side" is weak, at best - and stuffed full of a large helping of overblown ego. The main lesson in ALL of this is: think twice about accepting a position as a non-tenure track professor - they really don't have to give you a reason for dismissal - even for something as petty as ego.
