I purchased a Karl Ziess BB flat several years ago for 50.00 at an estate sale.
It is an older copy of the Sanders imperial model. If you check on the lead pipe, you will find what country it was built in. East Germany or Cech.

I had the lead pipe replaced and now it is going in for a valve work.

I've enjoyed playing the horn. It is not stuffy, plays in tune exceeept for third line D,12 combination. Use it for quintet and large ensemble work.
