While in Chicago at Mid-West last December, I asked the Holton/LeBlanc rep if there were any plans to restart production on the 345's. He stated, and take this for what it's worth, that the factory was beginning the 2 to 3 year start-up process to begin production. The process would be similar to that of the Phillips model using CAD and automation to produce the horns. Some of us are familiar with the new Holtons and have derived our own opinions of them. Whether or not they capture the essence of the old horns is yet to be determined, even if they do restart production. Oh well,enough rambling.
